Father Zygmunt Kurzawinski is the pastor of St. Bernardine of Siena Parish. Originally from Warsaw, Poland, Father Kurzawinski felt a strong calling to the priesthood from a young age and was ordained in 2003. His journey has taken him to various parts of the world, and he now serves our community with a heart full of faith and dedication.
Before becoming our pastor, Father Kurzawinski served as the Catholic chaplain at American University in Washington, D.C., and had the opportunity to work in South Africa on a mission assignment. His previous parish roles, including his time as pastor of Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish, have equipped him with a deep understanding of the diverse needs of the Church community.
Father Kurzawinski is passionate about creating a welcoming environment for all parishioners. Whether in English or Spanish, Father’s message is one of love, faith, and unity.
We are fortunate to have Father Zygmunt leading our parish, and we look forward to continuing to grow in faith under his guidance. Feel free to introduce yourself to him after Mass or join him in prayer at any of our services!
